The LEED-certified, 13-story hotel has 174 rooms and a pool on the sixth floor, or right around that level. Dining, fitness and meeting activities have their own spaces along with a bar, of course. This building and the condo edifice take up one city block, hence, the name.
The condos have a pool as well, but on the ground level, so as to feed into the Splash Lounge indoors, and vice versa. There is also a whirlpool in an "intimate" area. You can have a good time there, apparently. Cabanas and palm trees lend shade and privacy in a few places around the pool. Make sure you're in the shade before having a couple of martinis and falling asleep.
The 253 condos are very white and lightly neutral in decor hues. An open concept lets the conversation flow and keeps the space brightly lit. It is almost like being outside, except with privacy, since glass walls are the "barriers" between you and the outdoors. Opaque walls divide outdoor terraces so you don't have to be involved in your neighbor's activities.
Walking into the condo building, a 28-foot high lobby wows you as it looks out upon the corner of 1st and 1st. Even this is "one" related. The 2nd floor owner's lounge has views of the lobby, although the focus is likely alcohol rather than the lobby. The yoga and fitness spots, by the pool, will be waiting for you after the alcohol-imbibing, but you may want to wait until the next day. There's no point in ruining the effect after all of that effort.
Retail shops on ground level will surround the condo and hotel for an all-in-one experience. Back up top, Club One is a 2,100 square-foot venue for residents who want to throw a catered cocktail party and gaze at blue water. Take it in.
